John Khawam is currently a post-doc at WHU, Otto Beisheim School of Management in the Production Management Chair.  He received his Ph.D. from the Management Science & Engineering Department at Stanford University.  His thesis, titled Warranty Inventory Management and Supplier Decision Models, focuses on warranty inventory management in the presence of a reverse supply chain and on factory location with learning curves.  John earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees from the Operations Research & Information Engineering Department at Cornell University.  After graduation, he worked at Lord & Taylor for three years as an internal consultant, where he received Six Sigma training, before joining the Ph.D. program at Stanford.  John is an avid runner and photographer.
